Michael Reibscheild took us on a pleasant walk around the edge of St. Albans and Verulamium Park. I didn't take that many pictures as for much of the walk it was raining and I kept the camera tucked away and dry. But I did bring it out when I could.

The weather started off nice enough as we set off across Verulamium Park... The Cathedral from the park. There were lambs everywhere. A brief break in the weather. But more threatening clouds sneaking up on us from behind a grassy knoll, and a huge shower cloud up ahead. A pretty railway bridge.

Is that a ghost rising up from the top of a shower cloud? Oh here we go again. Incoming! Time for yet another soaking. Brightly sunlit St Albans Cathedral seen from a good vantage point against a very dark sky. One more park and a church yard to cross then it's the home straight to the finish and a very angry looking shower. Three JWalkers posing before the shower arrives. Howard playing with his SLR.

A beautiful 200 year old tree. A church made of flint, and its ornate lamp above the door and spire. As the walk ends, mammatus clouds overtake us and herald a wet end to the walk.
