Night shot of cirrus (lit up by London streetlights) behind a tree. Flooded garden after half an hour of torrential thunderstorm. "OK who left the hosepipe on?" Scraggy and very low cloud on the back of the storm.

Exceptionally clear night for August. First attempt to purpously take pictures of the stars with my digital camera. London streetlights limit quality though. :/ This was one helluva vivid sunset. Demonic! Early morning altocumulus with the sun throwing a few beams through it.

5:25pm: Huge Cumulonimbus cloud with a tower rising out the top. It got very dull and wet a short while later, with a rumble of thunder. Strong sun shining through a very heavy shower. And the corresponding rainbow.

Huge tower silhouetted against some cirrus. Viewed from a glider directly underneath and just below cloudbase. A short while later I found a 6Kt thermal under it. Early morning mackerel sky
