Early morning clouds in Hendon breaking just as I tried and failed to catch last the transit of Venus this century. Spreadout over Hendon Way. Curiously contorted cloud formations passing over Lasham Airfield as rain approaches in the evening twilight.

Snow in Angel Islington as I emerged from a concert. Snowy northern line near Golders Green. Golders Green and Hendon under a blanket of snow.

A winter wonderland the morning after a snowstorm hit. Sledgers on the hill in Sunny Hill Park enjoying the snow.

Sunny Hill Park snow panorama. It was up to 10cm deep in places. A snow cat found in the corner of the park! Picnic tables sporting snowy table cloths and cushions. Even Central London didn't escape. Snow patches in front of the Houses of Parliament. Huge 6ft high snow pile in a Homebase carpark near Mill Hill.

Frozen water garden. The snow on this bush looks like cotton wool! The duck pond in Golders Hill Park had some very vibrantly coloured bushes. This statue just doesn't look right in the snow! Brr! Looking across to the band stand from the café as tea warms us up after the walk.
